Bootleg Brewery Wine List

MOSS BROTHERS
MOSES ROCK SEMILLON SAUVIGNON BLANC 2008 $30.00/$8.00

Lemon thyme, guava, herbs and spice on the nose.  The palate is fresh and vibrant with good weight and structure - gooseberries and lemon from the sauvignon blanc and green herbs from the semillon - persistent finish.

MOSS BROTHERS
MOSES ROCK SHIRAZ 2005 $30.00/$8.00
Ripe cherries and spicy/smoked toasty oak aromas with mocha and white pepper undertones on the nose.  The palate is crammed with sweet cherries and pepper flavours, supported by supple tannins which give the wine great length and freshness.  A very good value shiraz from the Margaret River.

MADFISH WINES
LATE HARVEST RIESLING 2008
$32.00/$8.50
The wine is a pale straw colour with lively, steely green tinges. The nose has a white flowers and citrus blossom-like perfume with the more classic Great Southern Riesling characters of lime juice and pear. The palate shows tight and elegant citrus front palate fruit. The richness in the mid palate is offset by crisp, clean citric acidity to produce a delicate wine with no cloying characters and very good balance.

MADFISH WINES
PINOT NOIR 2007
$33.00/$8.50
This wine has a wonderful brilliant crimson cherry hue.  The nose has elegant and attractive aromas of red cherry, strawberry and earth.  The palate is also reminiscent of strawberry but tends towards black rather than red cherry and slightly tart plums.

The palate also exhibits forest floor characters and a firm yet subtle backbone of tannin.  These tannins are palate covering and elegant and finish wonderfully with a slight acid twang.

LAURANCE WINES
LAURANCE WINES
CHARDONNAY 2007 $45.00/$9.50
Bright and lively with complex stone fruit and fig aromas in front of some smoke, toastiness, vanilla and hazelnut. The palate is nicely textured with a long intricate minerally aftertaste. The wine is delicious in its youth; however, those who cellar it with care will be well rewarded with increased complexity.

LAURANCE WINES
ROSE OF SYRAH 2008 $30.00/$8.00
A true European style Rosé with a dry finish made from Shiraz. Wonderfully inviting aromas of sweet raspberry and fresh wild flowers abound. The salmon pink hue and the generous flavours are cradled by a crispness and freshness which is reminiscent of a sun filled spring day.

LAURANCE WINES
CABERNET SAUVIGNON MERLOT 2005 $33.00/$8.50
The colour is a welcoming and refined ruby red. The nose is an infusion of red berries, plums and black currants, supported by gentle and opulent tannins. The Cabernet provides the definition of structure, while the Merlot provides a plummy softness. This aristocratic style is accessible now, and should be at its peak after two to five years of careful maturation.

DRIFTWOOD ESTATE
SPARKLING BRUT $25.00/$7.00
The palate is generous, creamy, lighthearted and balanced between rich toast and crisp fruit, finishing long and dry.
