LIGHT LAGER 3.4%

Handcrafted low alcohol lager, offering an alternative to the generic mainstream mid strength beers being produced today. This unique interpretation of an Australian style lager blends Pride of Ringwood hops, grown in Tasmania with traditional German Willamette hops, leaving an easy drinking lager with complex character, balanced 'hoppy' aroma and a dry finish.

RAGING BULL 7.1%
More often than not, most high alcoholic beers possess astringent spirity flavours, detracting from the other aspects of the beer. The reverse is true for the Raging Bull. At 7.1% alc./vol., the Bull begins with the intense malty flavours ranging from the crystal flavour and all its diversity to the coffee flavours of the roasted barley. A slight bitterness is apparent from the Pride of Ringwood hops but the main essence remains with the intense warming body structure. The Bull finishes with a resounding sweetness which, like chocolate, begs for another mouthful. A complete and full beer, Raging Bull is truly unique and possibly the most distinctive beer being produced in Australia today. Click title for more about awards.

SETTLERS PALE ALE 4.8%

West Australian barley and traces of wheat are blended to produce Bootleg's handcrafted, refreshingly fruity alternative to the commercial market whilst acknowledging the pioneers of the district. The use of bittering and aromatic hops provides citrus and melon aromas balancing the malt to finish with an appetisingly lemon bitterness. Deliciously food friendly.

SOU WEST WHEAT 4.7%
This Wheat beer is designed to appeal to a greater spectrum of people in that it has a low bitterness threshold and is relatively sweet. The hops used in the wheat are aromatic in nature (Hersbrucker & Willamette). This allows for gentle hop flavours to emanate rather than having a distinct bittering flavour. Coupled with this is a residual sweetness which combines with the grassy/floral hop flavours to form a beer that is well rounded, soft and pleasant on the palate.
PLEASE NOTE : Bottled Sou' West Wheat is bottle conditioned and contains yeast sediment – please store upright and is best to pour into a glass.

TOMS AMBER ALE 4.0% - NEW
Based on a traditional Australian amber ale the initial bitterness is quite distinctive however, not so overpowering that the other flavours are masked. The bitterness rounds off to reveal malty toasty flavours, offset and balances (due to the sweetness) the bite of Australian grown pride of ‘Ringwood' hops. Being profoundly malty in aroma, copper in colour and lightly carbonated makes this a pleasant ale for social occasions.
RELEASED - DECEMBER 2007

WILS PILS 4.9%
Bootleg's premium beer, the Pils is designed to represent the true Pilsener style of the Czech Republic. Heavily hopped with imported Saaz and Hersbrucker hops, the Pils is not only distinctly bitter, it also displays an intense herbaceous bouquet imparted by the use of Saaz. The softness of the rainwater used in the beer creates a silky texture for which this style of beer is renowned and a dry clean finish. A true Pils (for the Pilsener enthusiast).
