Bootleg produces a wide range of beers from our most popular Wils Pils - Winner "Best Draft Beer Australasia", to our full bodied "Gold Medal" Award winning Raging Bull. We also produce a light beer, Amber Light, an English style bitter, Tom's Brown and our newest beer - Settlers Pale Ale. |
SOU’ WEST WHEAT 4.7%
This Wheat beer is designed to appeal to a greater spectrum of people in that it has a low bitterness threshold and is relatively sweet. The hops used in the wheat are aromatic in nature (Hersbrucker & Willamette). This allows for gentle hop flavours to emanate rather than having a distinct bittering flavour. Coupled with this is a residual sweetness which combines with the grassy/floral hop flavours to form a beer that is well rounded, soft and pleasant on the palate.

TOM’S BROWN ALE 4.0%
This, our new Ale, is based on the traditional style brewed in the U.K. The initial bitterness is quite distinctive but not so overpowering that other flavours are masked. The bitterness smooths off to reveal malty molasses flavours which, due to its sweetness, offsets and balances the bite of the bittering Pride of Ringwood and Willamette hops. It is copper in colour, floral in aroma and lightly carbonated, making it a pleasant drink for all occasions.

AMBER LIGHT 2.7%
The light was created to offer an alternative to the generic mainstream mid-strength beer being produced today. At 2.7 % alc./vol., the light is slightly darker in colour (amber) as a result of the use of crystal malt which also helps to add a touch of body and flavour to the beer. A faint bitterness is also displayed which rounds off to an encompassing hop flavour that adds to the body and mouth feel of the beer. Hence the beer is full and distinct in flavour, most unusual for beers of this strength.

SETTLERS PALE ALE 4.8%
West Australian barley and traces of wheat are blended to produce Bootleg's handcrafted, refreshingly fruity alternative to the commercial market whilst acknowledging the pioneers of the district. The use of bittering and aromatic hops provides citrus and melon aromas balancing the malt to finish with an appetisingly lemon bitterness. Deliciously
food friendly.
